What is the structure of the Bench UV Light Accelerated Weathering Tester

This weathering tester is equipped with 18 pieces of a standard panel size 150 x 70mm. From the rotating rack of specimens, the sample is placed in the chamber in a column. The rack of test specimens revolves consistently and ensures that an equal amount of irradiance energy is provided to each sample specimen. It will enhance the comparability and reliability of the test outcomes.

Moreover, there is a latest touch control screen in this weathering chamber which is used for controlling the test procedure. There are friendly and convenient windows in the test chamber for measuring the parameters between the test procedures.

Why use Bench UV Light Accelerated Weathering Tester

For testing the weathering effects on products, a UV accelerated weathering tester is an ideal source. It is designed with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel body. It is simple and easy to maintain. This machine is best because users can assess the effects of environmental factors on their products in a shorter time and at a very low cost. Also, it helps analyze the difference between the actual specimen and tested products.

What is the ASTM test for accelerated weathering?

The ASTM test standard for UV weathering test is ASTM C1501. In this test method, laboratory accelerated weathering procedures are described by using xenon arc or fluorescent ultraviolet test devices.

What is the QUV Test method?

The quv test method is a widely used accelerated weathering testing method. It simulates the effect of temperature, moisture and sunlight on the materials. It is a valuable instrument for industries to assess the effect of outdoor exposure on their products, and ASTM test method used for uv accelerated weathering testing.

Why is UV safety important?

UV safety in the Ultraviolet Weathering Test Chamber is very important because prolonged exposure to UV rays can have harmful effects on the eyes and skin. UV rays cause Sunburn, skin cancer etc. So, for the protection of human skin, it is important to take precautions such as wearing protective clothing, and sunglasses.

What are the three types of weathering?

There are three main types of weathering which include.

  • Mechanical weathering
  • Biological weathering
  • Chemical weathering
What is the full form of UV?

UV stands for Ultraviolet. It is a type of electromagnetic radiation that comes from the Sun. UV rays are invincible from the human eyes but can have harmful and beneficial effects on human health.
